Entrepreneurs Under High Voltage
How two brothers built their ideals into one of Europe's most successful energy startups, received a takeover bid of 200 million, lost everything, and started again.

About the book
What started at the kitchen table as a mission to accelerate the energy transition grew into Soly: an international energy company. We built, grew, brought investors on board and came close to a major acquisition of 200 million. But behind the growth, more and more tension built up. Between entrepreneurial instinct and governance. Between company interest and the interest of investors. Between short term and long term. On 25 November 2025, Soly went bankrupt. In this book we tell the full story for the first time. Not just about what happened, but also about the choices we made ourselves, what we lost along the way, and what we learned from it.
